Thermal and RGB Images Work Better Together in Wind Turbine Damage Detection
International Journal of Computing, Vol. 23, No. 4, pp. 526-535
Abstract
This research demonstrates that combining thermal and RGB imagery significantly improves wind turbine damage detection accuracy. The proposed fusion approach outperforms single-modality methods, enabling more reliable identification of cracks, erosion, and thermal anomalies in wind turbine blades.
